In this mind-body connection restorative program, we will dive into the powerful impact of the autonomic nervous system on chronic pain. The autonomic nervous system: sympathetic and parasympathetic branches are responsible for keeping us safe: physically and emotionally. Pain however, is a sign of danger, and it triggers our body into a survival mode. Even if this 'sign of danger' is false, living with chronic pain leads to inflammation, anxiety, depression, disability, and other issues, which in turn makes the original pain worse. This course aims to unravel this and help participants achieve healthier living. 

Program Components:

  • What a healthy future looks like

  • Understanding the science

  • The role of thoughts and feelings

  • Releasing fear 

  • Somatic practices

This is a three month program, with meetings twice a month. 

Remember that Mind-Body Syndromes still require thorough medical evaluations to exclude any other conditions. In this course we do not provide medical advice or inididualized assessment or treatment. Participation in all activities is voluntary.

When: Every other week on Thursdays for 6 sessions spanning 3 months. The sessons will be held at 7pm Eastern Time on these dates:
